The end of 2014 is approaching and we visited the Bílinská bottling plant. Extensive reconstruction and construction of a new, modern plant has been taking place on its premises for the third year already. Bottles from the Bílinská bottling plant appear on store shelves in a new form that gives an idea of the potential of the entire project. Bílinská kyselka has also meanwhile become the official water of Czech Miss and the Czech national football team. Cobalt blue bottles, typical of this brand, also appear in other prestigious places. So, we asked these patriots of South Bohemia what the present state of the entire area is like and what plans they have for the future.
After several years of extensive reconstruction, it is no longer possible to overlook the fact that s Bílinská kyselka are you really serious Were you able to accomplish all the plans you posted in previous articles?
Vojtěch Milko:
As we promised, we managed the main thing. Complete reconstruction of buildings and installation of an underground production plant. The new plant has fully proven itself when bottling into its own new PET and glass bottles. These steps were the most important to get all things moving in the right direction.
What exactly direction do you mean?
Karel Bašta:
We would like to support the development of the Czech spa industry, which has a very good reputation in the world. Our foreign partners demand authenticity and originality from us. No imitation of foreign models makes sense when we ourselves have world-class brands.
So will you also work in the spa field as such?
Karel Bašta:
If you are asking about our role in the spa treatment process, we are first and foremost a bottler of Czech natural healing resources. Therefore, we supply healing mineral waters where treatment is carried out with them. We also deliver to shops and pharmacies for home use or continuation of the spa drinkable bark. Our home health spa is Lázně Teplice, but the healing waters from the Bílinská bottling plant appear and will appear not only here.
Are there any new products coming with the new factory?
Vojtěch Milko:
Yes, that was also the goal of building the new plant. Until November 2014, the liter PET bottles produced with simple labels largely blocked further development. Now the cobalt glass 250ml and 750ml, long awaited by many markets, is finally produced. We have also expanded our range with PET 0,5 L, which for many customers are disproportionately more practical than large liter bottles. We are also continuing to work on a complete line of genuine herbal extracts.
Real herbal extracts. Are these not the sweetened drinks that consumers in the Czech Republic are used to?
Engineer Zdeněk Nogol:
These are not really sugary drinks. Bílinská kyselka here it serves as a carrier for a medically prepared extract from a medicinal herb. Since the most gentle methods are used during extraction, the resulting extract has a greater biological value than tea from the given herb, which would be prepared by steaming in boiling water. Boiling water often degrades biologically active substances. For lovers of quality, we have newly prepared Žen Shen extract and Aloe Vera. You will appreciate their natural purity, but definitely do not expect sweet lemonades with flavors. We do not plan to produce sweet lemonades, we will not produce what our market is completely saturated with. We will stick to what makes us unique.
You are one of the few companies that will represent Northern Bohemia at the world exhibition EXPO 2015 in Milan, Italy.
Vojtěch Milko:
We appreciate the fact that we were approached by the leadership of the Ústí Region. But we know that Bílinská kyselka and Jaječická bitter water represent the real jewels of our region, unmistakable and in demand in the world. We were and will be a purely Czech company. We are proud of our region, we work here, we pay taxes here, and we also invest the money we earn here.
The public now perceives Bílinská kyselka in many prestigious places. For many, this is a big surprise.
Vojtěch Milko:
We are proud that Bílinská kyselka is the official water of Czech Miss and the Czech football team. We are patriots and we are also the official partner of FK Teplice, HC Verva Litvínov, FK Jablonec and we are already supporting the International Dance Festival, which is traditionally held in Ústí nad Labem, for the second year. We thereby underline our pride in our nation and want foreign markets to perceive our waters as part of our lifestyle and our rich cultural and social tradition. And not only in the European, but in the global context. Our North Bohemia has historically been one of the richest European regions, and we want to contribute to making it so perceived by the public again.
