The first year of bottling plant reconstruction and its results

Při procházkách areálem Bílinské Kyselky mohou návštěvníci pozorovat značný kus provedených prací. Co je hotové a co ještě zbývá?

Z. Nogol: The greater part of the work will now take place already so-called "under the roof", the front facade is not finished from the outside parts, the completion of which was suspended by the need to remove the scaffolding due to the new power line in front of the building.

These days, the main tanks of the new plant, which we call BILINER SPRINGS, were also installed. We are very careful that the new plant is once again a model of perfection and orderliness with an eye for detail, as it was at this place during the Austro-Hungarian era. At that time, the bottling plant in Bílina was a manual model of hygienic cleanliness.

Máte nějaké další představy, jak by měl fungovat lázeňský areál?

K. Basta: We must always keep in mind that the Bílina Spa was not built on baths in hot thermal waters. The treatment here took place mainly with the help of drinking bark. From today's point of view, it was more of a wellness hotel, benefiting from the fame of the healing springs. The further life of the buildings must therefore go in this direction. Our ideas about the future direction of the area are described by the conceptual project "New Acid for Bílina of the 21st century" initiated by us.

Jméno Bílinské se často objevuje v souvislosti se sportovními akcemi, Teplický fotbal, juniorský pohár BILINER CUP, nedávno také Mezinárodní taneční festival v Ústí. Budete v podpoře sportu pokračovat?

V. Milko: Part of our social activity is and will continue to be the support of activities for young people with the aim of creating opportunities for leisure activities. We would like to contribute as much as possible to the fight against boredom, drugs and aimless sitting at computers.

During further considerations about the future direction of the area bilinic acids we are based on the character of the whole place. We are surrounded by sports fields, a football field, an athletics stadium, tennis courts, a swimming pool. Already a hundred years ago, the area was boasting about these opportunities for sporting activities in its presentations, and it is therefore clear that this clearly determines other development opportunities as well.

One of the ideas we are working on is the creation of a sports academy with COERVER Coaching (coerver.cz) dealing with youth sports education. This academy could then provide quality individual coaching for young athletes from all over Europe. The spa forest park could provide excellent facilities for accommodation and wellness facilities, all nearby sports grounds could serve the academy. We all still have a lot of work to do before something like this could happen, but the very fact that we are completely surrounded by a sports field constantly inspires us to do this.

Měl by z provozu sportovní akademie užitek i běžný občan Bíliny?

K. Basta: Of course. Any meaningful use of the entire area practically always leads to its constant maintenance and improvement. Thanks to the international concept of such an academy, the social prestige of the city on the European map would increase, which would have a favorable effect on all aspects of the growth of the standard of living in the city.

Wellness facilities, medical facilities, recreational facilities, rehabilitation workplaces and mini spas would also serve our citizens, but the academy would mean a guarantee of permanent use for them. And even if the interest of the citizens was not enough to cover their offer. And if a situation were to arise that the built facilities would not be able to keep up, then it is the best thing we could have wished for and it will be a sign of the need for further growth.

Zaječická hořká organized a water culture conference in Beijing

Na stránkách www.bilinska.cz se objevily informace o konferenci vodní kultury v Pekingu. Jak je možné, že se české produkty dostaly na tak vzdálené místo?

V. Milko: This is mainly due to the nature of the waters from the Bílin bottling plant, which belong to the category of healing mineral waters. As our foreign colleagues say perhaps more succinctly, these waters are so-called "functional", that is, after drinking them, a desired effect occurs, they have a certain function.

European civilization is turning away a little from its spa traditions, and in recent years people here have focused more on artificial products from pharmaceutical companies. On the other hand, in Asia and in Russia, there is still an interest in purely natural medicinal products.

Jaký je tedy rozdíl mezi „minerální“ a „léčivou“ vodou?

Z. Nogol: In our current legislation, it is possible to sell any water obtained from a suitable natural source under the term "mineral water". Even the very term "sour" belongs only to waters that have more than 1g of CO from the source2,. And Bílinská has more than 2g. Really acids are rarely seen on the market.

K. Basta: While Jaječická bitter, the rare "true bitter water" is purely functional, Bílinská kyselka combines the excellent taste of naturally sparkling water with the practical effects of balneological water. These include action against stomach acidification and heartburn, and a whole range of other effects supporting digestive processes. Thanks to them, she won Bílinská kyselka many awards as the best dietetic natural drink.

All the thoughts and subsequent actions you present on your pages appear bold and generous. What drives you to think and create in this way?

V. Milko: First of all, we are aware that we are the successors of a famous tradition. We are here as stewards of the unique natural wealth that our illustrious predecessors made famous and used worldwide. For example Jaječická bitter gave the name to the world's most widespread drug before the advent of antibiotics, the so-called Sedlecký powders.

When we create visions, we think on a large scale. But we often meet doubters who see nefarious intentions and practices behind our ideas. This suspicion is understandable in our country at the moment, but it is also a very unfortunate way of thinking.

It doesn't make sense to immediately see something bad behind every bold idea. If people didn't think boldly, nothing extraordinary would ever happen. Houses would still only have one floor, cars would only drive at XNUMX and we would still use the telegraph. There is no development without bold ideas. And our society needs development, because everyone here likes to watch other countries where development improves the standard of living. We must develop ourselves boldly so that we do not remain just a country of cheap subcontractors for the bolder and more successful ones.

It is clear from your projects and visions that you see great development potential in Bílina.

K. Basta: Our favorite slogan is: "Let's not cry over the good old days, the golden times are now". Yes, Bílina has unprecedented potential. It has a glorious history and non-transferable natural resources that still exist for hundreds of years and are of interest to the world. If Bílina as a whole wants to, it can start dealing with these facts and begin its development in this direction.

But there is one important circumstance. The world around us will not just find us by itself, we all have to accommodate this development. We must proudly draw attention to our city and natural wealth and present ourselves well. We are perhaps in a better starting position than our predecessors. Information is spreading faster and further than ever before. Therefore, all of us who care about the development of our city must join the work. We must be proud of our city, and the world will perceive that pride from our every work.

V. Milko: We would like to wish our colleagues, friends and all the citizens of Bílina a wonderful Christmas and all the best and much success. Thank you for your support and keeping your fingers crossed for us. And we will be very happy if we welcome everyone next year, which will be our 350th anniversary, to the first Christmas festivities held at the bottling plant building.
